HDPE ENVIROPANS

Century’s HDPE pans include a patented closed drain system, minimizing exposure at pan and cross drain connection, as well as high impact resistance, puncture resistance, and tear resistance. The pans can be easily removed and reinstalled after track maintenance, as they are lightweight while maintaining high durability. Century’s design also allows for installation to be installed as much as 1/3 compared to other manufacturers.

STEEL ENVIROPANS
Depending upon location and material types handled within the area, metal spill collection pans may require grated walkways, elevated walkways, or a textured non-skid coating. Some spill collection track pans require full grated bottoms to ensure that foot traffic does not come in contact with hazardous materials or those aggressive with footwear.

CONCRETE ENVIROPANS
The precast concrete standard pan width is 12’ (6’ from center line of track). Although we can manufacture concrete spill collection pans in widths less than 12 foot, it is important to realize that the average railroad tank car and/or locomotive is approximately 10’ to 10’6” wide. The pan has a tapered stainless-steel flashing which fits snug up under the head of the rail to force materials dripped on rails into the pans. The flashing can be custom cut in the field to fit around rail joints.
